CBD, a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in hemp, has had a surge in popularity over the past couple of years. Unlike THC, the chemical compound that gives marijuana its signature effect, CBD has been shown to help with everything from PTSD and anxiety to MS and epilepsy — without getting you high. Previously, CBD products have been available mostly in head shops, with a few doctors recommending it for various maladies. But in 2017 and 2018, the products spread to natural food stores, beauty aisles, cafés and doctors offices.

CBDK was in discussions with a juice maker to partner on hybrid formulations that would deliver the positive effects of CBD through vaping pens.  At retail, the Vaping world is a little more “Wild West” and slightly less buttoned-down by state edicts; (but that is changing rapidly) — we had a wide open lane to pursue style, naming, imagery and flavor themes that could be eye catching in the cluttered vape retail space.  The blister inserts above were created with original art and modified stock elements.
